Well, I didn't realize that my domain name doesn't expire until next year so I got my site back up. *Thanks to *Gopher for the template

I think that I am going to keep it. The domain doesn't expire until next July, so I have some time to think.

Do you ask your new customers where they have heard of you initially? Do any of them say an internet search and they found your website?

That is the reason that I shut down my site before. In the last 8 years, I have shut down my website 3 times because of lack of support for it. I have never received a new customer from the site. And only a handful, maybe 2 or 3 customers have actually ever looked at the site.

my site usually always comes up in between 1 to 3 in the search listings.

Remember that a website can make or break someones decision to use you. Probably not for a cheaper lawn, but maybe for a commercial client.

Even if they just stop by for a look. They will see a professional company, not just the lawn guy. That alone may land you a job. One good account, and it would pay for itself.

And I put my web address on everything.

Also try and take the white space out from the top of your template.

Do you track at all where new callers had initially heard of you from? Such as your website or other advertising avenues?

Listen Website is great toll for drawing in new clients. You just and to know how get it listed in the google search listing. Also I use it for online billing for all my clients. Ill explain: I built a system that I can login input the customers info name, address, email addy,so on. Once I have put the customers info in, I will also generate them a user name and password. Once that is complete I can login as administartor go to that client generate a invoice for them. Once it is done I can click nofity client and it will send them email ( Auto -matic ) and it tells them they have invoice waiting. Once they get the email they can log into my site with there user name and password and print there invoice out. Also I have laptop with sprint broadband card ( I can drive down the road be on the internet) I carry in my truck with a printer. I can login my site print invoices and estmates right from my truck on the jobsite. If you really think about this concept its VERY , VERY rewarding when you can do this. I call it ( LESS STRESS ). If someone would like to test it let me know. Its simple php MySQL database system. Its made to ingreate in your website.
