Hello All,

www.papontelandscapes.com

Here is P.Aponte's new website, I thought I would show it off. The top page links are still empty (about us, services, etc...) but the portfolio works. This is a new style of site I have been working on over the past year, and it proves to be a great site for LCO's.

Let me know your thoughts guys,

well the site is written in php, and I have bee working on it for about 1 year (not this site, but the modules, blocks and layout issues and custom scripts). To put this site together it has taken me approx 20 hours so far. By the time I am finished about 30 hours will have been invested. I am also working on another companies site that will be similar. That one will take me about 20 hours to complete.

well now I cannot take all of the credit...much like this ikonboard is written in cgi, I used an opensource script to start off with and that gave me my base to work with. But thank you very much.

What kind of benefits do you see in having a forum for LCO clients and customers? Do you feel it would be utilized? How so?

It all really depends...I can see the contractor posting new information available to the clients on the forums, such as

- forrest pest advisories
- new services or products
- rain days

it could be usefull...and in this case my client wanted a forum added to his site.

Could it at all be set up to allow the client to log in and see updates for construction projects? See where the company is versus where they said they would be on their timeline?

Would that be useful?

Yes, yes and yes

It would benefit those clients that do not live at the cottage/house you are maintaining/design & build/construction. Wouldn't it be nice to add a progress report with images they can view, and show their friends and family?

You can make specific portfolios for specific clients that they can assess via a username and password. I think that this is a better way to do all of this instead of email...because it keeps it all together in a neat and tidy organizational tool.

Fascinating stuff!

What about blogs? You know it would be pretty wild if your Lawn Blog could have affiliate links in the websites you make.

There by reaching out to more readers.

Do you think such a tie in could work?
