Hi Eric,

That looks great! Give us a little info on how you like your new mower. Would you recommend it to others? Why did you choose that model?

thanks... well its a toro time cutter 4200 its kinda cheap but it dose its job i also have a kees comerical walk behind. i got the 42 inch deck because i got 2 customers with gates and their decent size lawns and the kees is hard to move around and stuff so i deceded to get this zero turn i got it from homedepot for less then 2200 and then eventauallty ill get a ferris witch is my dream mower i got my first pay cheack today so its preety exicting and one of my cusomters loves teh way the toro cuts his lawn so i think it was a preety good buy. i looked at the john deere i think the 225 correct me if im worng its sold at lowes with i think a 48 or 42 inch deck i dicieded with the toro becaue one of my buddies whos a lawn care speaclist dosnt like the way deere cuts and hes always used toro so i went with the toro if ur just getting into the bussiness and want a zero turn i would recomend the toro or if u want a lil bigger the cub cedet and like most teenages i wanted the biggist most aggrisve looking lawn mower but it dosnt matter how big it is for the first couple years it just matters how it cuts

Very interesting!

Do you have any idea on the lifespan of such a mower? Does the store or manufacturer give you a warranty for a specific amount of hours used?

Really! The mower says you can't use it for commercial purposes? That is very interesting!

Did anyone at the store tell you it would last 200 hours?

So then if the mower costs $2200 and it's lifespan is 200 hours then it costs $11 per hour to operate it, without including gas or any other maintenance costs.

That should help you in your bidding!

I bout a residential mower this year and it has a lifespan of 270 hours. If every thing goes the same this year I will probably need a new mower by the end of the year.

Its a cub cadet LT1045. I was reading the manual and it said that it should last 7 years or 270 hours. In about one months time I have put on about "one years time". I only paid around $1,900 for the thing and I only need it for 3 more years.
