Lawn care business tips

No disregard to the ones who create logo's on this forum, but I really like the logos on this site:

They don't list prices, so I'm sure they are WAY more expensive than the rest.

I've been thinking about getting a logo, but haven't really seen anything that say WOW!

I really like this one. I think the purple makes the entire logo pop! Fantastic!

Thanks gang... I have to say that these were my favorite logos to create so far! *Shannon was SO easy to work with.

Let me say this to those of you who may be looking for a logo in the near future... No matter WHO you choose to create your logo for you, make sure you are clear with them about what you want. If you have ANY ideas, specific colors, etc, let the designer know.

Shannon came in telling me that he was into medieval stuff and based his company name from Excalibur. He said he liked the idea of crossed blades (either swords or mower blades). I would like to think that it could be as easy with everyone as it was with Shannon... all it takes is clear communication. Don't be afraid to tell your designer "I just don't like that... can you do it this way?" ...but also remember to listen to your designer... if you want a highly detailed design, it may not show up well on small prints... or it may not look good on a shirt... Keep an open mind. It is a process.

I like that he was able to keep a steady theme with it all. If he likes medieval swords, why not name business with a similar theme and then in your about us section on your website, take about your interest!

If you collect swords, then get a picture of that and create a press release about how your interest in sword collection led you to creating this mowing business.

Maybe host a medieval sword month at your local library to show off your collection and get attention for your business.

The marketing tie ins can go on and on. It's very fascinating!
