Lawn care business tipsLawn Care Business Book
for houses an easy way to estimate the house wash cost is by linear feet.
if the house's walls are 40ft long x 4 = 160 LF Min. cost $160.

For that house, just by looking at it for a house wash it would be at about $280 + drive etc.

Rough guess at total would be about $450-$500
should take about 3 hours (maybe a little longer if your new).

so the driveway, would that be measured the same way(linear ft)

how much per sq ft on driveway is the common goal

how much per sq ft on a house is the common goal

what is a good product to get oil stains off(moratice acid)

what could get dirt off of brick

for vinyl siding-i was told i could use outdoor bleach mixed in with water in a pump up sprayer and then come behind myself with the pressure washer

From the looks of it, I would say about $300... driveway included...

We don't use bleach at all... we use environmentally safe soaps... they won't harm plants or animals... there's a house wash that we use from a local vendor that we would use for that entire house... the vinyl, brick and the concrete.

Well, for starters, we would just spray wash that house unless it was in dire need of being scrubbed...

We don't really measure-off anything right now... we've just got a figure in our head as to how long it would take us... and then multiply that by $100... So Tony called it about right... I figure about 3 hours or so on that house... therefore, 3 hours X $100 = $300.

Hope this helps! = )

That house wash soap is all we ever really use.... the only other thing I would think of to use other than the environment safe soaps we get locally would be muriatic acid (like you said in an earlier post), however, you'll never find me using that stuff...

Read here:
Information on Muriatic Acid

My recommendation would be to find a local pressure washing supply store, or one on the internet that guarantees next day delivery... use something that's safer than muriatic acid...

pmblair or amw,

do u have any contracts for like things u do and things u dont do to a house.

Also since i dont have a hot water pressure washer for oil stains, i can use the pressure washer i have, and most of the oil will come up right, but not all of it. Like a cause saying i am not responsibale for the outlining of the oil or whatever.

u have more knowlege about it then i do. So tell me what i need to know if u dont mind

We don't use contracts for pressure washing unless it's a commercial account that we'll do 3+ times a year.

As far as the oil stains, I don't use hot water units either (not yet, anyway), but I don't think you can get an oil stain completely up even with a hot water unit... I could be wrong, but I don't know for sure... the best you can do in a case like this is tell the customer that the stain will not come up completely... oil soaks into concrete because it is so porous... the oil goes DEEP, and I don't really think there is ANYTHING that will take it completely up.

Hope this helps.
