Materials and daily invoices

Wondering why when viewing the Schedule screen you see the totals for jobs $ by day - week - month, etc. You do not see any materials in the $ listed here. I have to run a report and add the 2 totals together. Wouldn't a total for the day also include all billing for the day, not just for each mow/trim, but also any and all materials used and invoiced? Am I missing something here? Thanks.

Problem is: when viewing the daily numbers on the schedule screen, any materials used are NOT in the total for the day. Is there something I have to do in order to have the COMPLETE totals for the day show there? Or do I have to go to the reports section and run a report for materials and then run another report for revenue and then add them together? Thanks.
