Gopher Techs,
How do I save a backed up file from my desktop to a new laptop. Im missing how to do a basic function Can you email me a list of instructions to otlandscape@aol.com

Hi tinye,

Were you able to email the file to your other computer? If so, then when you get the email, right click on the attached file and save it to your computer. Then go into Gopher and restore your data from that file.

Let me know where you are getting stuck.

Yes try that. It should allow you to save the gopher2003.gdb file to your computer.

Can you go into Gopher and go to Options then Database and then click the yellow folder open the file.

how do I go into Gopher? sorry I just dont know how to get there? What I have is a file under my documents. When I click on it to open it it says windows needs to know what program created it.

Have you installed Gopher on the new computer? If not, you need to do that then follow the above suggestion.
