Default Lists of sites like Craigslist and a few tips!

Hello ,
We are new here and wanted to help out this community by offering some free advice that will help your business. But we also have some great advice and a list of sites like Craigslist.

Craigslist is one of the largest free on-line classifieds service out there but it is definitely not the only one.

There are additional benefits to advertising your services on the sites below, that go beyond acquiring some new clients. When done correctly you can spend a short amount of time and increase phone calls and also build more quality links to your website our blog to get higher in your local search ranks.

Google does love Craigslist and a bonus for your business is that Craigslist is a authority site meaning that a classified posting on Craigslist when done correctly can give your web presence more juice as well.

If you like I will add a great working template for you to use that is optimised for posting to get the results I just mentioned. It took some trial and error and still a work in progress.

Here are some posting tips-
• Include your phone number on your title. This way people may find the ad online and just call if your title offer is good enough to immediately take action.
• Make a copy of your html ad and have it ready for a later date. But be sure to make a few revisions of it first. You want to keep the content fresh for search engines.

1: Craigslist

2: Classifiedads

3: Olx

4: Backpage

5: Locanto

(Locanto won’t allow phone numbers in the title, but still a good site to be on)

6: Ebayclassifieds

(You won’t be able to use your classified ad template here they do not allow html)

7: PennysaverUSA

8: Recycler

9: Oodle

10: Geebo

There are many other free sites to add to but you should want to just use the top ten. Most others will not give you as much rank.

And if you are reading this far into this post I would like to tell you our top 3 favorites on the list in order are Craigslist, Backpage, Ebay Classifieds. Next being Classifedads.

Sure this list above, well mainly the top 3 that is listed is done at least once a week. And it does work but those ten are the strongest we have found.
I did no put Angies list on there as it did not pertain to all businesses.

The template is a golden rule here I will share that tonight. It is very simple but effective. Try it when competing for certain keywords give it about 3 days at least though.

This is a great forum thanks GopherHaul

We are on Angie's list. I have gotten customers from Angie's list along with a few reviews. the reviews certainly help as far as getting customers.

I don't "use" Angie's List as far as advertising goes, but I do have five or six "A" rating reviews, and that gets people to call.

I just had a guy practically beg me to take him on as a client even though I thought the job was too large for one guy. Some people REALLY put a lot of faith in what they read on Angie's List.

Honestly, I find AL to be a nuisance in a way. They are always calling and emailing trying to get you to advertise with them.
Any time I LOOK at my AL profile I get a call. "I see you were reviewing your profile and wanted to talk to you about how we can get you more business."
Yeah - they monitor your activity. That irks me.

AL only called me once. I had to block 7 of HomeAdvisors numbers though.

That right there says it all. Reviews are always the best. Which comes to another great topic.
What are you doing or anyone else reading this post go about getting reviews from others.

I think that would be a great post to read.
