Using herbicides in Indiana

As far as I can tell, there is no regulations or requirements for fertilizing lawns commercially in Indiana. I'm pretty sure pesticides are regulated by certifications. I am not sure about herbicides, however. Does anyone know? I am doing research on this, beside posting this question. Ive not fund much yet. Thank you for any information.

In Indiana, you also now need to be certified to do organic fertilization.

If you collect money for spreading/spraying fertilizer/pesticide/herbicide/incesticide on a a cutomers lawn you MUST be certified. Check with the Indiana State Chemist office which is located at Purdue University. As Steve said.

I forgot to mention that your company needs to be liscensed to do this work. I am not talking about a business liscense but a fertilization specific liscense for the business itself along with specific insurance.
