Can you show us any of your favorite photos and why you like them so much? How did you get interested in that? What kind of camera do you use?
Sure. Here are some that I like. I dont consider myself a professional. Sometimes I get nice compliments, and sometimes I don't, but I do it for myself and thats all. Sometimes people ask me to shoot their weddings and special occasions and such, and I usually do it for free.
I mostly use my 35mm Canon AE-1 for most of my pictures. I think it is funner to use film, and your pictures have something that you just cant quite capture with digital. Don't get me wrong, digital is great, and I use a Canon SLR digital too.
Here are a couple of film shots:
This first one was taken in the dark (even though it looks like dusk, it was taken at 10:00 pm). I used a 30 second shutter to gather all the light. You can see some stars in the sky, and the streaks of light on the small bridge in the distance are headlights.
This one is of the Sundial Bridge in my home town. From where I am standing, the camera is pointed straight up, and it is 217 ft. to the tip of the support from the camera lens.
Here is a picture I took of my daughter while she was shooting for her art fair. She won 1st place for the picture that you see her taking in this picture.
Here are some digital pictures:
This is a pretty Sunrise over the foothills of Mt. Lassen which is about an hour from my home.
And one more of the Sundial bridge. Here you can see the support that I mentioned earlier that is 217 ft. to the tip.
Hope you like 'em.
