DOOR HANGER copyright issue

I pulled off template here- payed my son to fill in the words. Sent it to a print shop adeas printing was going with a 1000 band it stick it with no holes. They approved it. Now they pretty much said I copyrighted it. NOW they say I have to use there background design and they need to do the setup after I started paying for half of them. There whole order process BITES. I HAVED RECIEVED OVER 15 EMAIL WHEN ALL THIS CAN BE DONE OVER THE PHONE. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THERE SERVICE. ( I GUESS I KNOW WHAT THE STICK IT PART IS FOR) This is the 1 my son did I cannot use because I am a copyright thief

Sorry about your luck, I'll check them off as a company not to use. For some odd reason I've always felt over-the-phone companies seem to be a rip off. I stay far away from them. Companies like that should advertise a price, not try to string you along over the phone. Anyone else agree? Thanks for the warning about them!

I am having a difficult time following you here. Can you explain the copyrighted part more?

There saying I copyrighted the background picture illegally wich I got here from the free door hanger template. What I get out of it was use there design or do not use there service. They do not know where it came from. VERY RUDE PEOPLE AFTER GETTING MY MONEY. ADEAS PRINTING

sorry to hear about your bad luck .. I just order and got my 1000 door hangers with the Band It and i made my on design i did not have any problems at all

but me and my brother also run our own printing business on the side

I still have no product yet/ They said I stole or copyrighted the 1st image which was in my 1st post which I got off gopher haul here. Then they said I had to use there design which they sent me templates. Which I picked 1.

Then after picking there design they send me **- 20597_DH_JeffWilliams_v1.pdf
and 20597_DH_JeffWilliams-v2.pdf which have the stick disclaimer on it

My complaint was the 1st proof had no disclaimer on it and the phone # is very hard to read I am not a fan of the block letter and number print.

Then they send me another email after I told them to change the number and remove the disclaimer. Then the send me a email saying they will remove the disclaimer if I sign waiver that excuses them from liability.

I sent them a email to remove the disclaimer and change my order to band it only and not to put their name on it anywhere.

By law all warrantees and guarantees /Must be expressed and implied at time when agreement has been made.

I could get a lawyer and sue but for the amount????????? which I still do not know yet because the charge you after the first two edits. This all could have been avoided if they would have used my design

Why would a printing company care if you infringed on someones copyright anyways? total sham tell them to f'off and give your money back.
