I have pita customer. I was called out 3 times after the storm to address different issues. I spent about 2 hours waiting for cars to be moved. So I would plow a space or 2 at a time, instead of hitting from the side and clearing them all at once. I would drop them too if I wouldnt be losing 20 grand.
See im only loosing $1500 and Iv picked up another small lot that will replace it. The gas station was a PTIA for lawn care too, they were cheap and didnt want to pay for anything.

Lawn care business tips
When you send it ,put in a date for service to end ,and your last line your wrote fell but I am sure thats not what you meant .Other than that ,just make sure your not breaking your own contract about ending service ,then kick them to the curb .

yeah, $1500 isnt worth the headache. Picking up a lot mid-season will soften the blow too. I would be kinda worried about the new addition though. You never know if the last guy just dropped them for the same reason or worse.

They are a new business and just moved in. They did not have a snow removal contractor lined up as the building was empty for awhile. I plowed there lot today and got it for the rest of the season, 5 hours with a bobcat and my truck $$$$$

I would have been smart to take pics but mu smart phone and camera got left home haha

letter sounds ok. I'm not sure how I feel about the bullet points, but that's just me being nit-picky. It takes a lot to drop a customer, so congrats on that part...

Keep us posted on how all this turns out and if you get any response from the customer.

Would it have helped at all to talk to the father or no?

God no. On a scale of 1-10 she is a -4 haha and steve her father is the biggest know it all moron on the planet. I dropped them today. It was the best thing I could have done. I herd through the grapevine that they have over 10k worth of fines from the health dept. and 5k in fines from the "epa" because the new mechanic is dumping used oil behind the dumpster.
