Default Two Trees

We have two trees that are in an area out of reach from and houses or power lines. So falling them should be relativity uneventful. Both are about 60ish feet tall i would say.

What would you guys estimate for falling and clean up. No stump grinding. There will be me and one other guy on this guy and will have to saws going.

Lawn care business tips
I use a formula, something like x per inch of trunk dia, 1 foot above ground, times the height of the tree.

A 20 foot tall tree about 6 inhes in dia, felled, cut up, and hauled away is 45 bucks. ( I have a place to dump them without a fee)

so a 60 foot tall tree, about what 36 inches in dia would be 1080. However prices here are a lot lower then 'up north'.

You could go with 75 cents or even a buck an inch. But make sure you cover you dumping fee, and the time it takes to load and haul. You would be surprised how little you can put in the truck and how long it takes to unload

suggestion is you call a local tree company and ask them to bid on the job-as a subcontractor- and wither do the job yourself, or hire them and simply add a fee to the job. They will grind up most of the tree, and you can sell the rest for firewood

charlie brown christmas trees like that can be handled pretty easily ,do you have a trailer that can handle both of them at the same time ,and how much time will it take to dispose of them ?My daughter and I handled two colorado blue spruce trees a little larger than those appear with many more branches etc in under 4 hours total including dump drop off ,one saw ,and one person loading the crap as we went .

I would say $350 if you can take it in one load. What did you get for it?

Thats crazy. I would charge more then that to dump it.

Check dump fees in case you have to dump. I just chopped up a down pine and charged $725. It was a $173 a ton to dump. It took 1 guy 2 hours.

The job should be around $2100-$2800. The cost isnt about time. You can be out of there in 6 hours. Its about risk and injury. Its not something a homeowner can do you need a skilled climber.

in my area the going rate for a tree co is $70.00 to $90.00 per hour per man plus dumping and if need be stump grinding.
that is the hourly cost for a full service tree company with all the proper insurance and equipment

the dump i use charges $25.00 per cubic yard to dump brush and logs and my truck hold 13 yards.

stump grinding is anywhere between $4.50 to $7.50 per inch of diameter.
the price varies due to rocky soil, steep hills as well as obstacles, etc, etc.

being you are probably not a full scale tree operation with all the bells and whistles as well as possess the proper insurances i would probably tell you to go in the $50.00 to $60.00 range per hour per man and i would charge the same as above for debris removal and stump grinding.

the only disclaimer is i don't know what area you are in or how much the dumping fees are in your area.

My dump is $28 a ton....I would charge around 5-6 hundred....2100 to 2800 would be nuts around here (south carolina). I had a guy (did a great job) cut down a pine tree last year in my yard (close to the house)...about 80 feet tall and he charged $400 which was very reasonable....he did a great job and was insured.... I told him I would pass tress onto him that I cannot handle and I have kept my word.

That job could be done in 4 hours tops (including dumping)
