Steve the third year had challenges unique to itself. At this point I had a focus on project based jobs and not the monthly recurring revenue (such as from mowing and maintenance jobs) that would aid in financial stability, so perhaps I had more on the line with regard to what could go wrong and the risk of losing if a mistake was made. Other influencing factors - being stubborn, the need to figure it out for myself, poor estimating and getting in over my head, maybe a focus more on activity rather than productivity, low profit margins and over commitment. Hopefully this sheds some light on my ignorance at the time.

More information on new thread posting: Steve your explanation makes more sense now. Selecting any topic within the Forum reveals the new thread option tab found just above the left corner of the discussion panel, also within the same top bar of that discussion panel is a tab titled Forum tools and within that drop down menu is contained the new thread option
