This is the most amazing table saw I have ever seen. It features a revolutionary safety system that stops and retracts the blade (within 5 milliseconds) upon accidental contact, drastically reducing the severity of user injury.
You won't believe it until you see the video. I was blown away.
The site shows a test video where they use a hotdog in place of a finger.
Although this was posted a while ago, I completely agree. I've had a SawStop saw for over 10 years now and clearly they know their stuff. I've never had any major issues with my saw, aside from general upkeep and maintenance.
Do you have any recommendations for a place to get a brake cartridge part? I've been looking at their site, but I'd prefer to try and get something a little more economically-friendly or used, if at all possible. A couple of my buddies have recommended Hermance.com as an option (currently I'm looking at this piece: http://www.hermance.com/Industrial//...idge-TSBC-10R2), but it would be great to get a review from a trusted source. It appears that you have a lot of experience and knowledge in this area.
