Default Ever Get a Gut Feeling?

so i went out and did this estimate the other day, all fine, go to the door, the first thing i notice, a wine glass in her hand. nothing bad, seems nice, so i say, so sound good? (after explaining how i would get a day to bid the mulch and cut her lawn until the house sold) seems fine, she gives me no contact for 2 days until i give her the estimate for the mulch, she finally says somthing back, but she said she would get back to me because shes going out of town, so her grass is pretty bad so i say "well do you want your grass cut thursday for when you get back"..you know what she texts me back "not yet..driving" what the hell?

idk, just had a bad feeling about this one for some reason, so i dropped her, anyone else have anything like this happen before to them?

You did the right thing.

A few days ago I quoted an overgrown lawn. It was a rental property. I emailed the owner the quote, and she asked if I could cut monthly. I explained (in a nice way, I swear!) that I can either do it weekly, or biweekly. I don't hear from here for a few days, then I got this:

"Biweekly is fine with me. But I need you to take pictures after your done each time."

I told her with my busy schedule, I will most likely forget. I asked for her billing address so I knew where to send the bill...she only lived 1 town over. Really only a 15 minute drive. But she demanded pictures????

Thankfully her tenant found someone else to cut...or so she says.

What do you want to bet that she calls you back and will still want you to mow her lawn?
