Default My New (used) leaf Vacuum!

Well It's my first year in business and I have been gearing up for Fall.

I got my major piece of fall equipment, a 16hp leaf vacuum! It took a little bit of shopping around but i finally found a good one, it has electric start and a brand new battery and this thing starts up very well and seems to be reliable.

Best part; It only cost me $600. It's a 2008 and man does this thing move some air...

Now I got to figure out fabricate this to mount to the front of my dump trailer.

The red dump trailer is mine and the black one is one that i found online that I kind of want mine to look like, just with the vacuum up front.

for some reason i cant attached the leaf vacuum picture, ill put it on image shack instead!

Hmmm, ...

I caught on fire last year because leaves rested on the engine of my tractor, I'm sure this wont be any different.

Any way you can use the bed of your truck instead, and mount the vac to your trucks hitch?

You can add height to the bed of your truck with some good ol' wood!

Here is an update to my original posts.
The leaf vacuum works better than expected and paid for it self very quickly.
I kept the tall sides on the trailer it really helps haul more material and also helps haul huge amounts of brush without the need for strapping it.

Nope, I really like it, it works very well. Was very inexpensive to add on and was fun to build. the tall sides work so well for brush because of how much room brush takes up (unless its chipped or shredded)
I can also haul other things without worrying about wind blowing it off my trailer like mulch and wood chips (about 8 yards) then 2 on back of truck makes it about 10 yards a load, good for the smaller jobs that only need a couple of yards
