I got a 6x12 trailer with a back and side ramp gate. Love it! Real convient with the side gate for loading other mowers. Biggest disadvantage is the side gate is a wind catcher on the highway and decreases gas mileage.

I think I mightve made the longest ramp gate ever. I have a 4ft long ramp on my other trailer and my stander bottoms out on it. So I wanted to go longer but I mightve of pushed it.

Looked into it but there to expensive and I think I can build anything.

I was thinking 2 garage door springs. The ones I'm looking at are rated at 100lbs each and are $13 a piece. I might just leave it though. I always have someone working with me and I could use the exercise. It might be the only thing I do all day.

Heres it painted with chains to hold it in place. I need to rig a piece of angle iron that slides out and stops it when its straight up.
