Default New Stihl Saw

Bought this saw right after we were hit with this storm. Made my money back in the first few hours haha. It is a smaller size but it is a beast! Im buy all Stihl **** from now on.

its just the ms 250 with an 18" bar. its the homeowners version but after this I wont be using it everyday. If i need to i can upgrade but this came with a 4 year warranty plus I take care of all my equipment so it should last me. I dropped a few medium sized trees and cut up a bunch that were 20" plus with no problem. Bought the blade sharpening kit too which I have already made use of.

Nice.

My Stihl stuff has been ok but not perfect. I have a telescoping limb saw that paid for itself with 2 jobs, that thing was a great investment.

Be careful.

That is how I am
I just got a ECHO 18 in. 40.2 cc Gas Chainsaw like two weeks ago at the same time I ordered a case & spare chain, spark plug. I keep everything in the case so I am ready to go and if there is a storm to clean up I'm not looking for a $2 part.

The other tool I ordered at the same time was Ryobi Expand-It Reconditioned Pruner Attachment for Trimmers Best $51 I spent lately works great

I saw this post before I fell asleep last night, made me dream of getting a job cutting down trees for a charity group, but I didn't want to do it!

I don't want to cut trees down for charity :'(

A couple of months back I picked up a 20" Dayton with a 4.5 CI motor and that sucker goes through trees like butter. There is enough power in that old saw for probably a 28-32" bar. The best part was that I got it at a pawn shop for $40

A little while back we saw that video on here of the injury you can get without chaps versus how chaps can protect you and that was shocking! Those things really work!

^I was getting tips from a union tree guy and he was telling me they all have to wear chaps now because of accidents in the past.

Default Stihl

Stihl is the way to go for us. Hedge Trimmers, Weed Whips, Blowers and Chainsaws. Have had just a few minor problems, but the place where we bought the items takes care of them for free.
