Web sites by far are the best bang for your buck. If you hire someone to do the site, that is a one time cost. Then you should be well under $50 a year for hosting and every thing. Don't go with the cheapest host either and btw Godaddy sucks for hosting. Get your domain at namecheap.com and then hosting elsewhere.

i advise running your own nameserver and your own host overall. avoid paying anything. nameserver is all godaddy and the rest of those registration companies are.

I may have to switch my domain registrar from godaddy. namecheap.com looks good. Thanks for the tip. I have a bunch of domains and as long as they have similar maintenance tools then I'd save a bunch every year.

I've never used godaddy for hosting so I can't comment on that.
