Hello everyone, Just introducing myself, I have been out of the landscaping/lawncare field for sometime. Great to get started, although this time, I eventually want to work towards hardscaping alittle more. I am in the process of building a paver patio in my backyard so I figure that's a good place to start.

That's awesome! Do you feel that hardscape can expand your business and profit region?

I think it definitely would make me more well rounded and would probably not bring in a ton of business, but would bring in some. And in this economy, I really should not turn down hardly any work.

very true. I also feel that hardscape is not necessarily easy and it is one of the harder things to learn. Therefore, it makes your business look more established and more people are likely to higher you for other things as well

Take some pictures of your patio as you go. Also, keep track of the time it takes to do it and the costs associated with it so you can build them profitably later for your customers.

Yeah I have been taking the pictures to save for my clients. Kind of like a before and after thing.
