flower beds

i have a job lined up for mulching some flower beds. the guy wants them sprayed for weeds, cleaned out, then mulched. whats the best chemical to spray in the beds to kill bermuda grass and common weeds such as clover, pig weed and other broadleaf weeds? dont really have the time to hand pull each weed as i have a full time job and mow 25 to 30 yards a week.

What's your normal process for dealing with such jobs?

this is the first job as such.. ive mainly just been spraying grass and mowing.. as im wanting to venture out and get away from working for someone else, i figured i would give it a shot and see how it goes..

I price EVERYTHING individually. pruning individual plants, mulch per bucket etc.

for a flower bed i take a grubbing hoe and cut all of the weeds from their roots (leaving the weeds to fry in sun for a few hours) then lay landscaping fabric, staple it, and then put mulch on it.

I don't give a flat rate to do it all. because 90% of the time the clients will add some work especially if they are women (we all know how indecisive they are lol)

when you go take (Thorough) notes; ask tons of questions.

then go back and walk the property again as a review with the client. take pictures! good to reflect on! then go through your list and price it into gopher one thing at a time it works great.
