The Kombi attachments are completely different attachments - they are not interchangeable between the Kombi powerhead and the FS90R.
That's why I suggested a Kombi System if you're really interested in getting the most useful attachments.
Not sure what you are talking about because I do have the Kombi System with the 90R head and I have bought an extension for my pole pruner and it works fine

why yours don't fit

I don't know what you mean by "90Rhead".
A FS90 head - even if it could be attached to a Kombi - would give you a trimmer that's about 2' long! LOL!

Take a closer look at the attachments - the Kombi stuff goes INTO the coupler on the Kombi unit.
The FS90R attachments slip OVER the end of the shaft and do not have any length of "shaft" already attached to them - they are just a "head".

I don't have a Kombi System.

I do have an FS 90 R trimmer - it has a detachable gearbox "head".
It accepts gearbox attachments that are not the same as the Kombi attachments - they are different. (essentially the same attachment with a different shaft)

If I'm wrong, that would be great, but my dealer and the Stihl factory rep told me they are not interchangeable.

I dont like the kombi system for everyday use. I would go nuts switching attachments constantly. If I was only using it around the house that would be different. I would start watching Craigslist for a dedicated edger.

I have the 110 and in heavy grass it is underpowered. For every day basic trimming it is perfect. It will cut overgrown weeds/ grass but it takes much longer than if I use the 250.
I totally agree. I have one unit that is a dedicated string trimmer. I CAN switch the head at the bottom to something else, I but don't use that function. I also have one unit that is a dedicated edger. I like it better having two separate motors because one person can be using each at the same time.

I don't think there is such thing as that....correct me if I'm wrong though. There is a trimmer attachment for the Kombi system, but by putting the "FS 90" part and the "Kombi" part in the same name, is incorrect.....I think

I believe Justin has the KM 90R....not sure which motor I have, I believe it's the 110......everything is still in storage and calling for a snow storm tonight

I bought the adjustable hedge trimmer attachment that will fit the 110 or 250. I am pretty happy with it and it has more than paid for itself.
