It wouldn't surprise me in the least that the decisions to deny the claim was made by somebody with little or no medical background, only contract law. Hate to say it, but some insurance companies have you over a barrel at times by putting you into a position to lose everything you have while they take your money and give nothing in return. I would go to the press, radio-TV-newspapers, and let the world know what a bunch of cheapskates the insurance company is. An attorney with a heart will probably step up to the plate on behalf of Anthony and his family.

I agree. Bring national attention to the company trying to deny the claim and see what happens. I feel for this poor family, God I hope this never happens to mine!

Maybe we should do something on the next GopherHaul and create some sort of petition we could all send to our senators.

Petition congress to give us the same coverage they have, and in some cases, given for life. Or better yet, let them deal with the frustration we have back home.

Nothing will change their mind faster than being at the wrong end of a situation.
