creating a Flickr backlink for better seo

A part of improving your search engine results is getting back links. Those are links that direct readers from another site to yours when they click on specific key terms. Search engines love these backlinks and improve your ratings when it see them. So I figure we should be talking about different backlinks you can create. Why not get on flickr.com and create a new user with the name Your Town Lawn Care. What ever your town is. Then put up a few pictures in a gallery that you call Your Town Lawn Care. In the description of the photo, put in a back link. Like this <a href="http://www.YOURwebsite.com">Your Town Lawn Care</a> Are there any more things that can be done to that site to improve your seo? Let us know and let us know when you do it so we can all friend up on there and help each other. Post the link to your flickr site.

Don't just use your town but different pic's and places put a town near you that you service. Like for me that woould be Easton Lawn Care, Brockton LawnsCare, Whitman Lawn Care, Bridgewater Lawn Care

Flickr will work if you work it! In other words like any blog or forum, you must be a part of the conversation..Flickr is in our top 20 Analytics..If Google is ranked #1 and Flickr is ranked in the top 50, why are you not there?

I don't even know what a Flickr is.

I knew a kid that was a boggie flicker when I was young. Is it anything like that?




Seriously though. I know/think that it's been around for a while (maybe longer), but I've never ever heard anyone talk about it in the real world. The word "Facebook" can be heard in casual conversation EVERYWHERE, but I've honestly never heard anyone use the word "Flickr" - ever.

I guess maybe it doesn't matter how popular it is if you're just using it to place a link there?
