My package from Stihl arrived today. They sent the hat that I had chosen (nice hat) as well as a new catalog and a strip of Stihl decals. I'll post a pic later. I stopped by a dealer that isn't really close to me, but since I was in the area, wanted to see what they had. Nice shop with Exmark and Ferris mowers and ZTRs in the showroom. They're having a "show" this week with factory reps, sale prices, and state police giving a demo on proper trailering, and I may go back for that... you know it - more lawn swag!

Hmmm... now that I think about it, and after adding it all up, there's at least $70 (retail) worth of stuff here not including what it would have cost to pay for shipping for each if purchased online.

That's nuts.

I think I'm going to pitch a fit and return my ZTR.

got my exmark swag yesterday.

last year I was able to get like 30 different decals from them. There were like five different kinds

Fit pitched. Mower being returned. they are calling later to arrange to pick it up. Glad I didn't get a hat.

Same shirt and hat as Hedge, plus a nice 6ish inch by 14ish inch sticker that I'll probably end up slapping on the wall in the garage.

free stuff is fun.

I went and bought a new Ferris walk behind today at an open house sale.

After talking to the Ferris rep and later making the purchase, I walked back over and jokingly said "What, I spend five grand on a mower, and I don't even get a hat?" He laughed and said, "I've got some in the truck!"

Add a Ferris hat to the list!

Then the dealer gave me a Ferris t-shirt.
