Exclamation Everyone Look

Here is my idea.

We all have our Facebook pages for our companies, but we personally don't like to clutter our Facebook with other peoples stuff.

We also have Facebook 'like' buttons on our websites.

My idea;
1. We all create a 'dummy account'/throw-away FB account.
2. We use this account to go around liking each others stuff.

Goal: to put a dent in our visual appeal to passerby's / website visitors. Growth and recognition are vital, and may appeal to our potential clients.

NOTE: You should use a 'dummy account(s)' not your 'real' account(s).

If you are on board for this, keep this thread 'clean' as best you can, and just fill out the following;

Facebook: link
Twitter: link
Website: link
YouTube: link

Those would be the legit accounts to boost with love.

This would be the dummy account that I would use to boost the pages of everyone else; Link

It's more of a quantity ordeal. If let's say 10 people have fake accounts, we all 'like' each others stuff/groups/pages, etc.

The reason for a fake account, would be to avoid being spammed.

For example, twitter. I want to keep my twitter open mainly for my clients, I really want to read what they have to say. Problem: If I have 1000 of you guys on my twitter I couldn't be bothered to scroll around all day searching for my customers tweets (i'm lazy). A persons fake account wouldn't be active which means no 'spam', and we'd get the benefit of another follower/like.

Same with Facebook. Personally, I don't want my clients venturing off onto competitors pages, or knowing anything about our special top secret lawn guild a.k.a gopher, lololol. I have too many skeletons on this forum I would rather my clients not know about, know what I mean?

I suppose using your legit account is up to you guys, but no hard feelings to those I personally don't want to follow (it's not you - it's me...).

I do recommend that everyone follow Ducke on Twitter, I crack up laughing at every post he makes, LOL!

Scott,

It's possible a bunch of us here aren't on facebook so we don't know facebook speak or the ins and outs of liking or not liking on it.

What if we just all wore shirts like this. Would that help?

For starters those shirts would be a fantastic idea, they look really comfortable and I don't have any clothes....

As for Facebook itself, a free social media site, it supports many functions. I use it for the following;

1. Finding out what my (lack of) friends are up to and staying in touch.
2. Flirting with women, and their friends.
3. Creating a separate page or group for my company.
etc..

Facebook is good for gaining impressions, and getting the word out to your network about your company. Think of it as a snowball effect;

If one of my clients likes my companies page, his friends/family who are on Facebook will be notified of the page he/she likes (your company).

From there, you can expect your clients friends and family to click on your page, as they check out what your client likes.

Example 2;
If I like a page called, "poop", everyone of my Facebook friends will get a notification saying, "Scott likes poop". Out of curiosity, my friends will check out "poop" for themselves.

SUMMARY
Advertise your Facebook group on your website, so that your clients can spread the news to their friends (like discussed above), and link back to your website!
