Default Accessorizing new open trailer

Just got it, 5x10. very bare and no setups for anything. Looking to turn it into a hook n go ready with everything needed. Meaning, dont have to put everything in it and tie it down when i leave in the morning.

rake holder, string holder, etc etc.

all i have is the 4 rack setup i just welded to the front. which i like vs the side due to it being out of the way.

here is what i am working with.

The day i got it.

This is the rack (obviously) and a friend is getting some metal cut from his yard and we are going to add a few braces to help secure it from wobbling around.

Keep in mind, i have yet to get any account. just starting out. This whole setup was a trade for a boat i had. came with 6x12 enclosed that needed work and traded that for this trailer, with 2 racks. only installed 1.

Thinking of the cage type metal i could weld to the inside to keep things from falling out. the honeybomb looking stuff. forgive my ignorance and loss of words. This isnt a priority, accounts are. but i need to add a little more to this trailer since i will not be using a truck and not be able to put things in the SUV while out.

Lawn care business tips
Wow!
Looks just like mine!
I have put a rack on for weedeaters, and water keg.
Also a place to mount my blower. I am working on putting a 'Box" across the front (raised up so I can get the mower under) for tarps gas cans etc.

I like my 10 footer ( especially since it was FREE, just had to replace a broken axel - 200 bucks.)

post a picture of your blower holder please. as for the box up front, this is somethig i want to do also. that would be a perfect spot for tools, blades, etc etc.

still thinking about some sort of gas can setup though. i have a 5 gallon and 2 gallon.

Actually, you could use u bolts to anchor the metal mesh around the parallel bars. That way if you want to remove them, you can easily.

Thanks for the tip. Would this be wasted money or a huge advantage?

How much is this stuff?

Why did you not mount the trimmer rack onto the tongue and use the upper rail as a second support ?I can see you having issues with the uprights breaking right at the bottom . ,besides it looks like only shaque could get the upper trimmer off the rack from ground level .
the metal you are thinking of using is called expanded metal mesh ,and comes in a variety of shapes and thickness's .Also ,with no truck ,are you planning on installing a filler panel between the deck and top rail so you can haul debris without it blowing out of the trailer ?

Maybe a better way to go, at least along the sides of the trailer is use plywood, you can treat the wood, attach them with the u bolts, maybe mesh along the front to reduce drag if its an issue at all.

a filter panel?

as for the racks, they are not high at all. top is maybe 6ft at most and will hold spare. also, the way the rack is installed on the top bar is because i want to put a toolbox just in front of the trailer, on the support brackets.

a filler panel ,something to enclose the area between the top rail and the deck .

i mis read what you typed. thought you said filter, not filler. and yes, thats what i am wanting to do. or so that gas tanks, etc will not come out. or hedge trimmers or something that might be on the deck, strapped in but if the cord breaks, etc, there is a safety catch. OR... if someone forgets to secure something. . . . .

figured on Lowes (im sure there are cheaper out there) it would cost in upwards of $100 just in the mesh.
