we had a few years back guys getting into that concrete curbing thing where you buy the whole package with the equipment and you sell the concrete curbs that are used around beds and bordering drives and such.
it was a pretty slick set up and they had different forms for the machine and all diferent styles.
when it is done it looks real nice and after the first winter the freeze heaves it all around it it cracks and falls apart.
I think you are the first person here to bring that up. I never understood that service either. In any any area where the ground freezes, I would think you need to put in a footing that is below the frost line before you put in any sort of curbing. To think you could just run some concrete along a border that rests right on top of the ground was laughable to me. Now I see that it didn't work. Very very interesting.
