new logo design

I am looking for a new logo.Current logo in use can't be uploaded, so I can't show you.It is a side view of a fist with a green thumb hitting IMPACT and slightly collapsing the letters to the right. The problem is it does not look well on cards and letterhead, etc. I am looking for a nice clean look, professional looking, and brand recognizable logo.We are getting ready to start our marketing for 04, so this will be on everything..EVERYTHING.I have seen some stock logos I liked: Xray 185, 225,399 Tiger 92 I like the green/black/yellow themes I like yellow/maroon/black Or whatever you can offer in the way of suggestions for color.This will be used for newspaper ads and yellow page ads too.I would like one version of the logo to read "Impact Landscaping" only, to use on all other invoices,letterheads, etc. ,and one version with the phone number worked in as well.I am open to all suggestions and ideas.We are a landscape/maintenance/hydroseed contractor.We offer mowing,design,installation,hydroseeding,snow plowing,leaf removal,etc. to name a few key services.You all do great work and I am anxious to see some of your ideas. xray-can i see 477 with a yellow orange background? And "landscaping" in the same color?I'm liking the concept of this one.Can I see some of #185 as well? Also, can the trailing end of the "p" be cleaned out of the "d" in "landscaping"? Looking good, keep 'em coming

Xray-Can you change the color of "landscaping" on # 485 to show up better? I want to print it out in B&W to see what it will look like B&W newsprint.Also, can you change the "landscaping"font on 483 to the one used on 482, and outline the tree in black as well like 482?

MGZ- Could you try changing the color of the stripes on 020 to yellow or an orange-ish color variation?
