Not worth $2k

3 years does a lot to a piece of equipment.

$700 - $1000 only.

... 2k is what you spend looking for a used vehicle, not a 3 year old lawn mower.

We also don't know how he defines, "runs great".... if you kick it a couple of times it'll start right up!

Lawn care business tips
Yes that will leave a better stripe but the cut will look like crap Your mower is designed to have a 1/4 rake.

Yes, as in lower in the front. Lowering the back just makes no sense at all.

If you go to check it out look under it from the rear. There is a pulley that goes to the transmission. Give it a good shake. If it wobbles the transmission is going to need repaired soon. Either the input shaft is worn or the bearings are shot. Either way having a backup transmission is a good idea for this mower. I was lucky enough that my old mower that I blew up had the exact same transmission and I was able to swap it out before the new transmission failed for the second time (it wasn't fixed properly by the local yokels).

I have found what I truly want, a Toro Grandstand 40". It normally runs new for $7400. I found a dealer that had one he needed to get off his floor plan before he starts paying interest on it for $5950. Only 2 hrs are on this machine. What do you think?
