Lawn care business tips
nice weedwacker but it looks like your working to hard. I would tackle that with a wheeled trimmer or gas and flame.

Something along these lines would no doubt be a big plus for you...

I have used both myself and prefer the trimmer with bicycle handles and harness like you have. now if you went with the standard trimmer vs that I would say go with the wheeled one.

Tom, great pictures!

You know, any of those photos of you could be turned into a great logo. If you outlined your silhouette and filled it in, in a graphics program. Then you could make some great shirts that included your silhouette image in the center with Wee Terminator Tom wrapped around it.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Jymie, wandfsmall, and Sect, I think a wheeled trimmer would be a good addition to my arsenal, and will look into one when my cash flow is strengthened a bit. It would be good for flat properties, I think, while the line trimmer is good for steep hillsides and harder-to-reach areas. I'll encounter lots of those.

Bruces, I googled Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys, and now I remember seeing an episode, cracking up at that guy, smelling kitty bellies. I can see the resemblance because of the goggles. Nice! LOL

Steve, Great idea, and thanks! I have some creative software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Master Collection CS5.5. I went to school for that abou tten years ago, and the school closed abrubtly, so I never used it much. I've got some business cards and a simple website up now. They might be a bit primitive, but I think it's enough to get started.

My friends, your feedback and encouragement are a treasure. Thanks!

Haha! When I was setting up my website, checking for domain name availability, suggestions came up related to weed, ganja, etc. I don't partake, but had a good laugh LOL!

With a bit of looking you can get a wheeled trimmer for $150. The best part about them is the .155 line. I see sickle mowers real cheap too. If you do a lot of brush jobs its worth it for less then a nice trimmer.

I have a redneck idea of taking a beat up mower and putting cable line in place of the blade. I dont know how great it will work. All I would have to do is cut out the front part of the deck.
