Default Where Do I Get Printed Shirts For Less???

So me trying to look like a pro for my first year with my lawn care business, I gave myself a basic uniform. Forest green shirt with dark brown pants. I felt like it set me apart from the others who just showed up in some random t-shirt and some holy jeans. The problem is, I WANT MORE! I want to improve on just about everything this year including my uniform...

Pretty much what i am looking for is if anyone out there knows some good places to get shirts printed for LESS. I'm shelling out money on new equipment and uniforms are not at the top of my to-do list so I definitely have a small budget. All I need are forest green shirts with one color full back and one color left chest on the front. Just looking for something with the business name and phone number, that's it...

Let me know if you can help, thanks!

Lawn care business tips
I don't know what your budget is for shirts. I shopped around when I was starting out. Tried the basics like Vistaprint (didn't like them) and I tried Spreadshirt.com (they were ok quality, but didn't like the printing, and still a little pricey).

I ended up using Queensboro, great quality, quick shipping and cheap. I think I just got my 7th order, this time hats, they are great.

Vistaprint.com

Their shirts are amazing... I wear them every day because I don't have any other clothes... ahaha! Very inexpensive. The only problem is that you are limit to 'salt and pepper', 'white' and I think 'black' colored shirts.

Everything else is a rip off give or take, BUT the shirts.

Depending on your location it's better to go to a local printshop.

My experience is you order a shirt online, you cannot get a decent printshop to print since you did not order the shirts from them. It's like a homeowner wanting you to use their equipment for a cheaper price.

Personally i have worked out a deal with a local shop here...they order my shirts, print them or embroider them and hats....so far i have had a hoodie printed, 6 shirts and i have paid 30 bucks. the price for 2 shirts embroidered and 2 hats will be 40 bucks. Plus they mention me to each customer that uses their service.

I looked online for deals similar to this and have found them....but I can see the quality with the local shop, I can't see the online company's quality.

After a long beer drinking filled post, the bottom line is....find someone local. You want local people to support you, so support the locals as well.

i couldn't imagine wearing a forest green or dark colored shirt on a 105 degree 100% humidity day in Virginia.... shirts are a great idea but i think color is everything, not only for my comfort but for employees as well. I am going with yellow. competition has neon yellow/greenish and they stand out like a sore thumb and it also works as a safety feature.

I went to one local company and they wanted $33 a shirt. I gave up after that and went online. I shouldve tried some more local printers for comparison but I was shocked with that price.

I dont like queensboro not because of quality. They have order minimums and wont let you mix embroidery with prints. To me thats a deal breaker. Sure they let you get 1 item for 2.95 but the rest are jacked up.

At this point I'm still looking for a solid printer.

I really should have a job at queensboro for as much as I talk about them. LOL They have a 4 piece minimum, and that does either need to be all print, or all embroidery. Not a big deal to me. If you play your cards right you get great deals. I wouldn't sign up and order straight away. Sign up and watch the email offers they send. I always order when they have the "get $45 off of your order of $90 or more". They seem to offer it once a week, every two at the least. I think over the course of last year I spent a hair over $200 and got 10 t-shirts, 2 polo shirts, 8 hats, 5 pair of shorts, 1 knit hat, and a atache with my logo. Not bad in my book.

As far a spending local, I went to numerous local shops, even after I started using Queensboro, mainly because I do believe in supporting local. At most of the places the shirts average between 4 and 11 dollars a piece. BUT there was a huge set up charge at every place I went to which I didn't want to spend. Two of them had small properties that I offered to barter with to avoid the set up fee, none of them wanted to do that either. So long story short, I wanted to support local, they did not.
