Lawn care business tips

I like it! You could try cleaning up the picture a bit with a little editing. Like the rusty colored dirt on the steps. Maybe darken the color of the earth to give it a nice natural/lush contrast. Send me the pic and I'll see what I can do if you'd like! Also, there is text I see; "Let us take care of all your lawn care needs So you can do the things you enjoy on the week-" Weekend?

I used Microsoft Publisher 2003 for this flyer. It is part of the Microsoft Office 2003 package. I used excel to do some of the shapes. I found it easy to make say a star and copy & paste it in to the project. I probably could find it in publisher but did not take the time to look. It printed very crisp on my printer as well.

How are these lawn care flyers differing from what you might have put out last year?

Do you feel you learned any lessons from last year's marketing experience?

Just a quick question. What do you do when a client calls you that gathered all of his neighbors flyers and wants $2500 worth of work done and presents you with (8) 10% off coupons.

That being said, I would definitely add some stipulations at the bottom, expiration dates, one per house hold, maybe create a max amount, no combining etc.

I would be very nervous distributing those coupons.

That's a good thought on the disclaimer, I have more work to do. Historically, I have not gotten back hardly any coupons, but business still comes with the advertising. One thing I need to do is be more persistent with handing out the flyers this year. I slacked on that last year, just to see if it would be a difference in calls.
