Anyone ever see one of these? Or know how much they go for?

I have never seen one on a skidsteer before but wood processors start at just under $10,000. Although I have seen some home made designs for less.

I would be interested to know what size log this thing can handle as the ones in the video for my area are small, the other thing is our log length hardwood is 16', I wonder how the balance of the skid steer would handle that.

There are many wood processors in the area where I live that are far more efficient than this set up, but they come at a steep price.

The specs say 8’ to 20’ but doesnt mention width. I found a discussion on another forum that said it cost $24,000.

That seems pricey to me. Its called HFP160 Firewood Pro.

Do you mean stand alone units or would these be attachments to a piece of equipment?

Stand alone, they are fed with a skid steer or small tracor with a clamp on the front capible of grabing a few logs at a time, it would be a wasts if the min length had to be 8 feet in a pile.
