I've got a couple tree trimming jobs for the spring time and im looking to buy a chainsaw. I seen the ECHO CS-310 and I like it. I normally just use a pruning saw buy would like to buy this chainsaw. Any input would be appreciated.

I never really seen a echo product I liked. For the same price husky seems better just my opinion though. I like Jonsered and I would second stihl if you got the dough for it.

STIHL ALL THE WAY... get a 18" bar. . goes for around $350. . if you do a few trees the saw will pay for itself in no time... and im pretty sure the Echos are right around the same price as a Stihl...

Normally, I suggest Echo for everything but not for saws. Normally, I never suggest Stihl for anything except saws.

Stihl is probably #1 for saws.

For the most part your top saws are Jonsared(Husquvarna, Redmax) or Stihl.

Some of the Husquvarna stuff you find in box stores like lowes and tractor supply is made on the poulan lines, not near the quality of the better stuff. Then again you will find some junk Stihl saws as well.

Husqvarna makes the best saws i have a 372xp and a 455 but i started doing treework with a cs310 and probably made 2000 off that saw i also have the cs450 theyre good backup saws buy a husky though theyre the best
