Default First Official Day of Conducting Business as Saber LawnCare

Ahhh. Feels good to work hard.

Finished my first official day of work as Owner/Operator of Saber LawnCare.

One gutter cleaning, mowing ( 3rd of December and mowed a lawn, freaky feeling )

One leaf cleanup.

Getting a frame for my first dollar on the way back from tomorrow's scheduled leaf removal.

I'll post pics after tomorrow's job.

Thanks guys....

I need to learn to take better pics... but here is one before and after of the front yard. Back yard came out blurry. I'll have the 2nd job up soon, a couple of the after pics are uploading with half the pic being gray.

Today's job got rained out

Great job! When you are onsite working on these different jobs, do you also offer them lawn care service into the new year? Or look for other upsells?

Steve, yup, I will be doing this lawn next season, plus spring cleanup and he wants a sidewalk poured from his back porch around to his driveway...

the pics in the next post is the yard of a lady that called me from Craigslist for snow removal. When I went to bid the job i asked her about her leaf problem so i got that job, plus she signed a service agreement for her lawn next season, and will be wanting mulch, and shrub and bush trimming and low branches on her trees.

The job i have on Wednesday because of the rain on Sunday called for leaf removal, i sold her on snow removal and lawn service next season. No service agreement signed on that one yet, but i'll present her with it on Wednesday.

This is the 2nd job from Saturday, finally got the pics to upload properly...

I didn't get to mow the lawn, i had to finish dumping the leaves in the dark. I offered to come back the next day, but she said i don't have to since "mowing it now would be like putting ketchup on a burnt steak"... I don't quite get that but i laughed. I think she wants a good overhaul of lawn and landscape since she brought up mulching and replacement of decorative rocks and redoing her railroad tie wall. I'll know more at the beginning of Feb when she wants to go over everything. This one is going to be a good before and after advertising lawn. I mean before season and end of season, not using these pics. haha

You really seem to be doing great!

What advice would you have for others just getting started when it comes to being so successful at upsells like this?

How should they go about doing it?
