I have been reading more communities are allowing homeowners to park 1 commercial vehicle on their property, but it still seems there are plenty of communities that are against home based businesses. Here you see business owners need 'special exceptions.'
• Ron Wire of 137 Hatcher Road, Lot G, Warner Robins, was given a special exception to operated a lawn care service from the trailer he rents at the Hilltop Mobile Home Park.
He had letters of permission from the owner and the landlord to operate the business at the trailer park. He said he would be the sole employee and have one truck, one trailer, a push mover and a riding mower and storage shed to keep all the equipment in, next to the trailer.
• Keith Scott of 211 White Road, Byron, was given a special exemption for a lawn care service out of his residence. He provided a letter of consent from his neighbors and said he had a 20 foot by 12 foot storage building to store his equipment.
