Of course! It's from all the trimming. I've felt sharp pains and all sorts of crap in my hand, wrist, etc. I usually feel this pain when I have trimmed for an extended period of time.

Many of us including myself suffer from Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, certain landscaping activities cause more pain than others, chainsaws and operating the thumb on the excavator created the most problem for me. Even some of the university staff were having issues from the vibration feeding a wood chipper.

I have what they call "Trigger Finger" were two of my fingers will lock in the curled position and man dose it hurt to snap them back.
I also have arthritis of the right elbow and wrist left shoulder and upper back right between the shoulder blades.
Most of this is from being such a daredevil when I was a teen Race cars Motorbikes, bicycles and just being stupid.
Man was I stupid in my teen years never a bet I didn't take. I was invincible so I thought now I am paying the price for all the fun I had.
But I wouldn't trade it in for anything.
