Default Customer incentives

How many of you offer incentives to your customers? What do you offer? And are your customers more likely to hire you due to your "rewards"?

From time to time I see some people on here write about how they offered their customers 4th free lawn mowings, 10% off and etc.

Just curious if this actually works and if you get more work out of it.

Raise your price on just about every service. Now, only offer clients the original price on all your services.

If a client hires you for snow, they get a better price on other services etc...

It seems like most of the times the gimmicks don't work.

People seem to just want their lawn serviced at a reasonable price by someone they like. So ultimately, the more people you can talk to and come into contact with, the more you can get to sign up for services.
