Default Engines

What engines are you guys getting the best hours out of for both walk and ride?

Kohler
Briggs
Honda
Kawasaki
Tecumseh
Robin
Other

Seems like Kawasaki and Honda are the top of the list.

It is not just about the brand but the model as well. They all have different applications and life to them within each brand.

Thank you I am aware of this. I am in need of a self propelled mower. Looking at eXmark with the Kawasaki. Also looking at a Toro with a Honda engine. Just needed advice. Thanks!

I would say more problems with tecumsah and briggs then the rest. Had the best luck with kawi's but the majority of my machines have them, including toys.

as to warranty issues of the brands I do the best is Honda, Kawasaki, then Briggs Vanguard Generac, and Kohler Command, and the worst would be the Chinese junk, All non Vanguard briggs units and Kohler Courage.
