newspaper ads......any suggestions

here is what I came up with. The idea is if a customer signs a yearly lawn care agreement I will mow their property so many times for free depending on if they want it done weekly, every 2 weeks or every 10 days. what kind of offers would you give and what kind of newspaper ads have you had success with? We had talked a bit about this in the past.

The thing is, you never know what will work, so you should experiment. I would start with a smaller offer rather than a larger one. Maybe one or 2 free mowings and have them at the end of the season so the customer didn't get the free mowing and then fire you.

Have you been doing much marketing on craigslist? You may not even need to give anything away for free.

Also have you experimented in the past with newspaper ads?

tried marketing on craigslist and got a telemarketer. new to the newspaper ads so I am not sure what would or wouldn't work. what kind of ads have you had success with? thanks in advance

So did you only try craigslist once?

Plenty of members have had quite a bit of success by sticking with it.

just tried craigslist again....hopefully better results this time

And try it a bunch of times too. Like reposting your ad once or twice a week.

You could also say, enjoy your summer. Have us do the mowing.

Maybe also include a picture of someone relaxing in their yard. Graphics tend to grab more attention than just plain text.
