Ya'll should look into the extensions that they sell for the racks. The extensions mound to the deck of your trailer and then to the inside of the rails. It is supposed to support the racks if you have a weak rail or round top rail. I think it would work great for you Cheese.

I have the original rack and have had it for years with no problems. I love them.

I've had the Extreme trimmer rack on my trailer for two years now and yesterday one on my trimmers snapped the shaft. I will not put anything in these racks again until I either buy the motor supports or make my own. Just had one on my trimmers fixed and spent $125.oo on it yesterday only to have one of the others snap a shaft. Can't wait to see how much a shaft is for it. I'm a little pissed that this happened because of the rack system. the supports should be part of the package and not an extra even if I had to pay more up front I would have to avoid this type of problem.

Have a picture of it but can't figure out how to post it here.

When you reply, look below the text area for the gray Manage Attachments button.

There you can choose a file to attach. Let me know if you have further problems with it.

sorry to hear about the damage..The same day the rack was delivered to me and I put it on and saw the possibilty for damage to the shaft, I ordered the engine supports for it, I only used it for a couple days until they came and I put them on as well...It works great with them on and I agree they should be a part of the system without having to buy them extra...For all they are and the cost of the rack they could throw them in on the deal ...

Dougcaskey, It's not hard to see that you need the engine supports once you install the rack. I'm glad someone agrees with me on them being part of the package. I should have know better from the day I put them on. I have purchased the engine supports and love the system. The company did a great job with the design. Going to order the blower rack and trimmer string rack from them also. Good luck to you and pray we get snow this year.

Look on ebay or craig's list that if you are buy a Home Depot go into lawn area and they might have trailer racks just ak them and they will find them
