Yeah. I believe I am going to give the xtreme racks a shot. I've been doing a lot of reading. Jungle Jim's get great reviews, and so do xtreme by green touch. But I like the locking feature on the xtreme, and I like the no spin bracket.

I didnt install anything yet but the JJ stuff looks good for the price. I would have liked to see all the seems welded up, but I trust that if they were breaking it would have been addressed.

I could have built the stuff I bought but the convince factor won me over. I do like the design of the Extreme stuff but they dont offer a single trimmer rack so for my application the JJ stuff is better.

I think you will be happy with whatever you get.

Here is a picture, obviously not installed yet.

I use trimmer traps for my trimmers and I built my own backpack rack almost like the trimmer trap brand

I can vouch for the Extreme Trimmer Rack. I have the 4 slot model. The part I like most is they lock in and also you can move the latch and hold them in the unit as you drive so they do not fall out. The square backet keeps them from moving around in the holder to. A plus for me.

Alright, it has been awhile since I brought this topic up. After a lot of research, and trying to justify the cost, I finally purchased a trimmer rack (holds 3) and a Backpack Blower rack (holds 2). I decided to go with Jungle Jim Racks.

I have been doing a lot of reading on this forum and others, and I came across many post and stories that scared me away from xtreme racks. I came across 7 individuals that have had the motors shear off their shafts from the weight of the motor. I don't know if this is just a fluke thing, but it scared me enough to not order them. I spent a lot of money on my stihl trimmer, don't need my motor bouncing down the road.

I will put picks up of my truck and trailer when I get the racks.
