Lawn care business tips
Looks nice
I wish I could get on lawns dry enough to work on.
I did three mow jobs on Friday afternoon and they were like mowing swamps.

what's up boys? Here is one of my HOA's. There's about three and a half acres of grass in this HOA. No striping kit on the decks, just John Deere decks. Enjoy the pics.

Nice pics! What kind of mower are you using to create such a nice cut?

You can't beat that John Deere. It's a great niche to be able to offer mowing on a larger scale like that. Very few startups would be able to do that.

This is one of the several large properties we mow. We also have the snow removal for these properties. I would say that I have gone from being the new kid on the block, to being the Big dog on the block. I continue to look for the potential growth from the business through expansion to other communities in and around the area. Expansion and growth will also require more employees.
I would have to say that my ability to handle the growth of the business is directly due to many years as a supervisor in the oilfield. The pressure that I was under working as a supervisor then, makes the day to day operations of my business fun.

Default Thanks All!

Thanks all for the great coments! Nice job by the way on the hoa's! Yeah steave, I am a deere man too...I use a 21" john deere walk behind with a lawn stryper system. I also use a 48" Scag walk behind, but the deere gives me the best stripes on those high end yards! Keep up the great work everyone, and be safe!

Do any lessons stand out now from your experience when it comes to managing lawn care employees?
