So for all three beds i should need 5 cu. yrds. of soil and 2 cu.yrds of mulch. I apologize if i was not clear with my first post. I think i know how much to charge for hourly labor and how much material to use. I am just not sure how long it should take to put down on average a cu.yrd of mulch or soil per. hour. I think what i am seeing is it should take 1 hour per. cu. yard

How far will the mulch be dropped from the beds? How will you transport it to the beds? You might be looking at close to 8 man hours of work if you go by that rule of 1 man hr per yard of mulch. Keep us posted.
