That's 9,350 sqft....I would charge $60 even. That's using a zero turn or rider. What are you using to cut? The thing about vacant lots is that they usually let them get pretty high...so if your using a push mower. It can be a pain in the ***. If your using a zero turn or a rider. Easy money. How often are you gonna cut it?

I was going to use to push mowers and she said about every 6 weeks or something like that. I think im going to tell her it needs to be maintained every 4 weeks. How did u come up with price do u charge per square foot?

That's no good at least where I am. If they don't cut bi weekly then I charge them a hell of a lot because I will have to keep emptying a bag or worse weed whack then cut it with a mower! So I charge them a lot and then they say why don't we do it biweekly... That's going to be about a 2 hour job because of all the stopping to empty the bag....and I hope you have a lot of bins or bags for the clippings.

Liberty is right. It's really gonna suck with a push mower. I charged based on the avg house sits on a 7,500 sqft lot. Since its all cutting and no trimming. BUT....remember....I said I would charge that with a rider or zero turn. I usually charge $100 to $150 an acre. Clean on the low end and 3 to 4ft on the high. Sometimes more depending on how thick the vegetation is. Don't make pricing harder than it is. Call local lawn companies. It can really mess you up and be a total headache. If its high and they are content on cutting every six weeks....I would not take it on with a push mower.

Plus factor in the fact that people love to throw trash into empty lots, so if this is going to be the case, you will need walk it every time to make sure there are no hidden surprises to bust up your equipment.

100 bucks a pop, if it's going to be tall every time, sounds right to me.

How long did those jobs take to perform? Were there any lessons you learned from doing them?
