Default Look is everything!

The magnetic truck signs I have (with professionally designed logo) are a great advertising tool! While mowing a lawn yesterday, a guy stopped my wife and asked us to go down the block and call him with a bid. We did so and now have another regular customer!

Look is everything-he said he stopped because we look reputable-uniform shirts/hats, nice truck with signs, nice trailer with racks (after all, I won best truck and trailer-LOL!). AND he said he stopped because he saw my wife mowing and likes to support women in business. I think he was hitting on her, but whatever-it worked!

Not to mention when I mow my own lawn, I park my full truck and trailer out front just like I'm a lawn care company working on my lawn. I've gotten a customer that way too.

Lawn care business tips
That is fantastic!

As you see yourself getting more customers this way, do you have any future plans on improving your public image, either with your truck, trailer, uniform or any other marketing?

How have you found facebook to work as a marketing tool for you? Do you have any suggestions for others when it comes to marketing through facebook?

I give good advice on facebook on how to take care of your lawn this could be a gamble, but my friends and family are on there and they see that and tell other people about my company and word gets out.

Has anyone tried to upload your own logo on vista print I tried mine and it said resolution was to low. I was bummed because I actually like the shirt I made but I was afraid It would come out blurry and I didn't want to chance it

Wink Logo

What program did you use to design the logo? Are you using images downloaded from internet? Can you upload the final image your are using for that?

For best results, you should set the output resolution at 300dpi (best for printing purposes). TIP: Save the file as .pfd works much better @ Vistaprint..
