Default 2 man crew vs 3 man crew

I am starting up a lawn care business and we have about 7 properties. One property is 5 acres of pretty much mowing and some weedeating. We are in the process of getting a HUD housing community. It has 32 houses with small yards (about 4 acres total) with about an acre of land between the houses and the (4) 8 plexes (about half of an acre) with a little bit of mowing and weedeating at the duplexes. We also have a business lot that has a little bit of mowing weedeating and trash pickup. We do this after we get off work and on weekends. We will have 2 60" ZTR's, push mower, 2 weed eaters, and 2 leaf blowers. We have another property of about half of an acre. We have a monthly cut that is half of acre. Trying to figure out if we need 2 guys or 3 guys. Thanks for the advice

Lawn care business tips
The benefit to having more crew members is that you can potentially get a lot more work done at one stop if the property is large.

The down side is that the larger the crew, the higher your expenses will be while traveling from location to location.

So if you are going to be parked at one location for quite a while, it would probably benefit you to have more on your crew.

Check out this blog post and let me know if it helps you.
