Default Public relations and your business

In a recent discussion, we talked about how having a facebook account tied in with your business can potentially negatively impact it.

One of the reasons why was if you talked about political topics, controversial hobbies or interests, you may turn off potential customers. In fact, there is a minefield of issues you probably can't go near without upsetting some group.

In the news today was a situation that reminded me of this.

Bob Parsons, the CEO of GoDaddy, posted a video of himself on the internet showing him on an African safari hunt where he killed an elephant.

Now he has animal rights groups protesting him and his company.

What's your take on this?
